colony in western Illinois, it is one of the remaining original
Colony buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
Built of wood, it is a 2½-story building with Greek Revival
details. The building features the original medicine vault cellar.
The
Colony Hospital is rich with period detail and décor and
is the ideal setting for an anniversary or romantic celebration
or retreat getaway. Charmed by the cozy simplicity, guests embrace
